Nomitha D/O Velmurugan

Hello, I’m Nomitha, a Year 2 undergraduate at SIT DigiPen Singapore, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in User Experience and Game Design. I am drawn to designing experiences that feel intuitive, purposeful, and considerate of how people actually think and behave.

I hold a Diploma in Immersive Media from my days in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, which greatly contributed to my interest in in understanding how users think, behave, and interact with digital products.. The course had equipped me with strong foundation skills in visual communication, layout, and design fundamentals. I approach design thoughtfully and iteratively, starting from research and observation before translating insights into wireframes and prototypes, pushing them to the refinement stages. I enjoy working through feedback and usability testing to improve clarity and flow, and I am especially interested in interaction design, graphic design, and accessibility.

I am proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premier Pro. I have experience working with Unity, Pro Tools, Mixcraft and Microsoft software through coursework and projects. As an aspiring UI/UX designer, I am eager to further develop and expand my skills by learning through real-world projects and collaboration.
